Turn Art Into Cards

Proxy Party is a creative workshop designed to bring people together to create. Think of it like a paint night, but with coffee and tea instead of wine, and your finished artwork gets turned into a custom trading card. There’s no required theme; you can create whatever inspires you. No art experience is required, making it a great creative activity for friends, families, couples, or anyone who wants to make something, uniquely their own.

How it works

    1. Draw

    Choose a Pokémon and unleash your creativity! You’ll be provided with the required art materials (or bring your own) and a drink of your choice.

    Customize your card with a name, type and description

  • A proxy is an unofficial card used to represent another card. It is not an authentic or tournament-legal card. Many players use proxies in trading card games (TCGs) for casual play, testing decks, or protecting expensive cards.

  • Proxy Party is a two-hour creative workshop where you make original artwork and turn it into your own custom trading card. Customize the text of your card using our web app, then we’ll print and seal it in a protective slab for you to take home!

  • Yes. As part of this event, each participant will be required to give us permission to replicate your art and submit it to the public anthology library. The process will grant permission for others to see your art and enjoy it as well.

  • We will have markers available. We will not have paint. You are welcome to bring your own mediums and colours if you like!

  • Once you're done, give us about 5 mins to scan, size, print, laminate, and cut your card~

  • We're running 2 sessions and each session is 2 hours. Most people finish their art between 30mins to 90 mins depending on how detailed they want to make it.
